Get yourself into the Green Network

Organised networking can be fantastic of absolutely awful (in my opinion) and for someone who turns down many networking events every month, this one sounded a little fresh and exciting. No membership fees, a good place to have lunch and a green focus. The Green Network is launching with their first lunch on Tuesday the 17th November, but even if you missed the boat... there are many benefits to getting involved in the future. Below is a little info from the Green Network, so you can find out if suits your business.

Corporate Green Army Supporting Great Companies

The Green Network is a group of business professionals that enjoy a joyful networking environment - without membership fees - and that openly support any company that is "environmentally friendly or has enviro friendly products" .

Your mission should you choose to accept is to enrol your corporate community to join the corporate green army at a luncheon once a month and enjoy an active networking environment.

So how does it work?

The Green Network hosts monthly business networking lunches with one purpose in mind to create a business networking environment that doesn‟t have fees and has multiple benefits to the attendees. There are three main sections to type of attendee at these events.

1. The Green Corporate Army
This is the corporate attendee that is focussed on their companies community image and have a keen passion to support green companies. This networking lunch is an opportunity to support businesses that are operating within the green community and keep updated with the latest “Green” corporate initiatives hitting the market.

It is also a general forum for business to business networking to enjoy potential synergies and business networking opportunities over a splash of wine and good food.
Giving the Corporate Community the opportunity to support the green community...

2. The Green Company
Companies within the green community have an opportunity to get their product and services recognised within the corporate and industry sector.
Green companies can showcase the latest enviro or “green” product or service and ensure that the community is kept up to date with the latest information on what‟s new in the green community and how this could maximise a company‟s image which can indirectly relate to more customers for them.

3. The Investor
Being a wise investor is all about finding the next big thing before the rest of the market catches on, but doing this requires researching and analysing many options. Attending these kinds of networking forums is all about seeing what is the latest in the “Green Market”. The trend in the market is that people in the community want to see products and services that are good for the environment. Therefore by attending as an investor gives you prime position to see what is happening in this market.
